I went to see Dr. Jerles this morning. He took the stints out of my nose and wahlah, I can breathe! What a difference. I am so glad that Tracy nagged me into getting this surgery done!
Andy had been referred to see the ENT doctor also for his hoarse voice. He put a scope down his nose to look at his throat and voical cords. It was very irritated and red. He said he has bad reflux of acid and it has his throat irritated. Andy didn't even know he had reflux! He put him on Prevacid twice daily. We have to elevate the head of the bed 6 inches and make changes in the old diet. One hard change is that coffee is bad for reflux. We love our coffee! Back to the heathlier eating.
I talked to Mom just a bit ago and she is not feeling well. She is congested and coughing quite a bit. She also thinks she has a UTI but is drinking "cranberry juice".
Well enough about health concerns. Later.

It's Me, CherBru!
I've been reading the girl's blogs ("the girls" being Angie, Candy & Tracy) and decided that I might on occasion have something to say. I have especially enjoyed watching the antics of the children in the family.
I thought I would p
ost a picture of my family. This photo was taken in Austin, Texas at Thanksgiving 2008. Tracy & I are in the front row. My son, Dusty is the tall one in the back. Alan is the newest addition to our family. He is Tracy's husband and most of you know Andy...he belongs to me.

It's been 9 days now since I had my deviated septum repaired and turbinates reduced. I go see the ENT doctor tomorrow and will have the stents and stitches in my nostrils removed. YEAH! Hopefully, I'll be able to breath better. Already, I am not snoring as much as usual so that is definately a good sign. Back to work on Monday!
